The journal welcomes original research articles, literature reviews, policy analyses, and case studies relevant to regional governance, public administration, public services, regional innovation, fiscal policy, and sustainable development. All submissions must demonstrate originality, academic rigor, and relevance to regional development. Research Articles

This section publishes original research articles that contribute to the advancement of knowledge, theory, and practice in regional development policy. Submissions may employ quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches, as well as other rigorous research designs appropriate to the research objectives.

The scope includes, but is not limited to, local autonomy and bureaucracy, regional governance, politics and public services, regional innovation and development, natural resources and environmental policy, and regional fiscal policy and development.

Manuscripts must demonstrate originality, methodological rigor, a clear research contribution, and relevant implications for policy formulation, implementation, evaluation, or regional development practice.

All submissions are subject to an initial editorial screening for relevance, originality, quality, and compliance with the journal's author guidelines. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process. The final publication decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief or an authorized editor, taking into consideration the reviewers' recommendations and the journal's editorial standards.

Review Articles

This section publishes scholarly review articles that critically examine and synthesize existing knowledge relevant to regional development policy. Eligible submissions may include systematic literature reviews, scoping reviews, integrative reviews, critical reviews, and other appropriate forms of scholarly literature synthesis.

Review articles should clearly define their objectives, explain their literature identification and selection procedures, present a coherent synthesis of relevant findings, identify research gaps, and establish implications for future research and regional policy development.

Submissions must provide substantial analytical value beyond a descriptive summary of previously published studies. Authors are expected to use credible and relevant academic sources and to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all references.

All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening and, if considered suitable, a double-blind peer-review process. Acceptance is determined by the editorial team based on originality, methodological transparency, analytical depth, relevance to the journal's scope, and the quality of the contribution.

Policy Studies and Case Studies

This section publishes analytical studies and case studies addressing regional development policies, public administration, local governance, public service delivery, regional innovation, fiscal management, environmental management, and related development challenges.

Submissions may examine policy formulation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation; assess the effectiveness of government programs; analyze institutional practices; or investigate specific regional development experiences. Case studies should provide sufficient contextual information, a clear analytical framework, and evidence supporting the conclusions.

Articles are expected to offer practical and theoretically informed insights for policymakers, government institutions, researchers, and other stakeholders involved in regional development. Where appropriate, manuscripts should formulate clear, feasible, and evidence-based policy recommendations.

All submissions are screened by the editorial team for relevance, originality, analytical quality, and compliance with the journal's requirements. Suitable manuscripts are subsequently evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process. Publication decisions are made by the editor based on the overall quality and relevance of the submission and the reviewers' recommendations.
